WATCH: Brothers Tom and Luke Stoltman – the world's strongest man and Europe's strongest man – meet Sam the Burmese python when they visit the Summer Kids Club at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness

Brothers Tom and Luke Stoltman lent a strong helping hand in handling an unusual visitor to the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness.

The brothers – who are the world’s strongest man and Europe’s strongest man – took on the role of snake handlers when they were guest speakers at the centre’s weekly Summer Kids Club.

As well as posing for selfies with the children, the brothers had close encounters with creatures from the Scottish Exotic Animal Rescue which also attended the club.

The free Kids Club is held at the Eastgate Shopping Centre every Wednesday from 10am to 4pm until August 10.

The summer programme includes the FITKidz Athlete Experience when youngsters can learn to train for cycling, have a go on a smoothie bike and also join in arts and crafts activities.

Sessions last an hour and the Athletes Experience sessions should be prebooked.

The final session on Wednesday August 10 will include a sports-theme treasure hunt to celebrate the Commonwealth Games.
