An annual event for motor lovers and the community was back in Nairn today with around 250 vehicles being exhibited.

Crowds enjoyed the sun at the Links for the third edition of Wheels of Nairn while browsing cars and motorbikes of all shapes and brands gathered near the seafront for the day.

This year's event was the biggest yet for the event organised by Nairn BID.

Nairn BID manager Lucy Harding said it was a great day.

She said: "We have more than 250 cars in 14 categories, from the old beautiful classic cars to the newest show and shines, and some wonderful motorbikes too.

"Lots of people from clubs across the North of Scotland attended so it's wonderful to see so many people around here.

"We are hoping that people will be staying for the weekend or to stay for the meal later. It's great to see the town busy.

"We look forward to next year to make the event bigger and better!"

A selection of food & drinks stalls and trucks was there on the day as well as entertainment for children, charities and local groups in attendance.

Main sponsors Nairn Car Sales said it was great to be able to talk to the public as they browsed the cars.
