A SINGING doctor is wowing the youngest of hospital patients and their families with his vocal talents.

The doctor has been captured on film as he sings to calm down a baby during a blood test at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The short video of him crooning his version of Unforgettable has been seen by thousands after it was shared on social media by the youngster's mother and NHS Highland.

Shannon Wemyss said her daughter was usually distraught at having her bloods done.

"She has had them done a huge amount of times but never has had a reaction quite like this, not one tear," she said.

"I have never met a doctor quite like this one, absolutely amazing. He had a smile on everyone’s face. An example of a job being more than a pay check at the end of the month. He has made our day."
