Boath House in Auldearn welcomes new chapter with popular open day

Boath House in Auldearn reopened last weekend under a new management team.

The hotel and restaurant unexpectedly closed in January - with some customers being notified that their bookings had been cancelled.

However a new company — which includes also the venue’s owners Steven and Lorna Mayne — has stepped in and welcomed visitors again on Saturday (March 8).

We spoke to general manager Chris Lewis and his wife — and assistant — Lois about this new chapter for the business and to head chef Iain Nicholson and sous-chef Vivien Oravecz about their culinary plans for the venue.
