After completing Higher Dance at the venue during his final years of study at Dingwall Academy, he now dreams of establishing a regular base at the venue and making contemporary dance accessible to and exciting for everyone.

He said of IMAGO, a piece that has toured the world and attracted rave reviews: “This work that we are presenting is very special to us.”

His return to Eden Court sees him sharing some of what he has learned with aspiring local dancers and determined to act as an ambassador for the sometimes misunderstood genre that is contemporary dance.

He said: “I feel that in the UK currently there’s a little bit of a wall that I want to try and break, which is making accessible dance accessible to anybody and to make it exciting and thrilling.

“You can connect to it just as much as going to see musical theatre. And this is the wall that I am really passionate to break here in my home town.”
