WATCH: Horse led to safety after being found loose on A9 near Kessock Bridge





Police have reported that no one was injured after a horse was found loose on the A9 near Kessock Bridge yesterday.

The animal, which was spotted trotting along the A9 southbound lane just past the Kessock Bridge roundabout during busy traffic, is understood to have been escorted to safety and returned to a nearby field.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.50pm on Friday, October 4, 2024, officers were called to a report a horse loose on the A9 near to Kessock Bridge.

“There were no reports of any injuries and the horse was removed from the road.”
