One day Coinneach had a lightbulb moment, and posted a TikTok video of himself baking within a cosy setting on the island while telling stories, myths and legends.

Kyle Donald, marketing manager of Bonk & Co, said: “We have partnered with the Hebridean Baker for a number of events now and with the launch of his fourth book we wanted to make sure we put Inverness on the map for his latest book tour.

“He's full of love for what he does, very humble and genuine. An authentic Leodhasach with an infectious smile, and a pretty good singing voice too!

“We sold out very quickly and if we had the space we could have easily doubled the size. It never surprises us that we sell out when Coinneach is in town, he is so popular, especially in the Highlands.

“A sold out crowd, everyone singing and smiling, not a crumb left on a plate, and a queue out the door for the meet and greet, would be hard not to call that a success!”

Mr MacLeod has now written three books which entail recipes for cakes, savoury dishes and Christmas bakes, as well as some beautiful stories, songs and photography.
