WATCH: Eden Court looking for young participants for Fly The Flag dance project
AN Inverness theatre is calling for youngsters to take part to a new human rights-themed dance project.
New Scots and people living far are among those encouraged to get involved in the new initiative by Eden Court as part of the international Fly The Flag campaign, with the central theme being freedom of expression and Article 19 of the Declaration of Human Rights.
In a recent video posted on Facebook, Eden Court's producer for dance and accessible arts Louise Marshall invites people aged 14 to 21 to get involved in this 'exciting high energy project', which will be filmed and broadcasted on SkyArts.
This initiative comes as part of the Fly The Flag campaign, which was initially launched in 2018 to celebrate human rights in a collaboration between arts organisations and charities.
No experience is required, with the theatre offering to pay travel expenses for those living too far who can't afford the journey.
Those wishing to get involved in the project can have more information by emailing lmarshall@eden-court.co.uk.
