Loch Ness sighting near Fort Augutus shared by Maltese couple on holiday in the Highlands

A couple on holiday has shared a video of a potential Nessie sighting this weekend.

Erica Kawka and her husband, who are from Malta but currently travelling in Scotland on a holiday, were enjoying a walk on the shore of Loch Ness at Fort Augustus, when they spotted something in the water.

The video, which was taken at around 3pm yesterday (Sunday, October 5) shows a dark mass in the waters not far from the viewing spot, appearing in front of a group of passersby.

This year, only three sightings have been added to the official register, with the last one being recorded at the end of August.
