WATCH: Celebration of sport at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club marks visit of Birmingham 2022 Queen's Baton Relay ahead of Commonwealth Games

There was a celebration of sport at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club to mark the visit of Birmingham 2022 Queen's Baton Relay.

Tennis, squash, table tennis and also representatives from other sports clubs and activities were on hand to give people a chance to take part and find out more about the different clubs in Inverness.

Inverness Tennis and Squash Club was selected by Team Scotland to host the first Scottish stage of the Queen’s Baton Relay for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

A Team Scotland spokesman said: "A big thanks to Inverness Tennis and Squash Club for the warm welcome as the Birmingham 2022 Queen's Baton Relay visits Scotland!"

Dan Gilchrist – formerly of MFR's Dan and Grace – was guest announcing at the event yesterday.
