UP to 15,000 people watched the annual bonfire and fireworks display in Inverness.

The event at Bught Park included a large inflatable slide and refreshment stalls as well as other attractions such as fire twirling.

Eleven-year-old Struan Maclean helped the city’s deputy provost Alex Graham light the bonfire before the youngster led the countdown to the 20-minute display.

The video below is the first 10 minutes of the spectacular display by Fireworx Scotland.
