Video shows teenagers on top of Inverness bank roof throwing items at pedestrians below
A video circulating on social media shows four teenage boys on the roof of Nationwide on Inverness High Street and throwing items to the street below.
The footage shows the boys balancing on the roof and picking up different items to throw at the pedestrians below.
Two of the boys work their way up to the chimney between Santander and Nationwide.
A Nationwide spokesperson said: “Our Inverness branch is located within a double storey building that is connected to similar properties.
“While we have not been notified of any incident taking place on the roof of the building on Saturday, we will discuss the matter with police this week.”
A Santander spokesperson said: "We have robust security systems in place at all of our branches and our priority is ensuring that our staff and our customers are safe.
“We are currently investigating the incident reported to have taken place near our Inverness branch on Saturday.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
