Strong Man legend Luke Stoltman –The Highland Oak – emerged from the icy of Loch Morlich today and announced: "I feel so lucky!"

"Ever since watching @iceman_hof swim under ice I wanted to try it," he confessed shortly afterwards via social media.

"Today in Loch Morlich wearing my @budgysmuggleruk I did it!"

The Invergordon man, who has dominated the Scotland's Strongest Man competition for nearly a decade with his equally strong brother Tom, added: "It was exhilarating. Really felt truly amazing.

"Being with loved ones and in the amazing scenery I feel so lucky.

"Appreciate the little things in life as it soon becomes apparent they are the big things."

The freezing waters of Glenmore's magnificent loch clearly held no fears for the 36-year-old hero, who proved himself as Scotland's Strongest Man from 2013-2017 and yields only to his kid brother today.

He and Tom are the only brothers in history to reach the finals of the World's Strongest Man.

The 6ft 3in, 350lb phenomenon totally immersed himself through the ice and bobbed up triumphantly to the squeals of his loved ones – and did the charms of Badenoch and Strathspey no harm whatsover on the national and international stage!
