Victim of fatal A82 crash identified as 66-year-old Fort William man

Police Scotland have confirmed that the man who died in a crash on the A82 on Monday was John Hugh Mackenzie from Fort William.

The incident happened around 5.25pm on Monday, near Glengloy, north of Spean Bridge.

Mr Mackenzie, 66, was the driver and sole occupant of a green Citroen Berlingo which was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.

Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information who has not already spoken to an officer can call 101, quoting incident 2566 of October 26.
