Vandals target driverless bus at Inverness Campus

A driverless bus at Inverness Campus has been vandalised.

It is believed the transport was targeted earlier this weekend or on Friday.

Ranald Robertson, director of HiTrans which is rolling out the project, said: “We are very disappointed that this vandalism has occurred.

“This has been reported to the police and we hope to see this incident investigated and the person responsible held to account for their crime.”

This adds to a spree of vandalism being carried out across Inverness, including to Hi-Bikes.

Police have been contacted for comment.
