Some lines have reopened between Aviemore and Inverness following flooding.

The Highland mainline had been closed following flooding between Carrbridge and Inverness.

A ScotRail spokesman said: "Trains are now able to run between Aviemore and Inverness, however will run at a reduced speed.

"Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

"Some trains will also be cancelled. Disruption is expected until 3.15pm."

Buses will also operate between these stations. However they will not be running to the train times.
