UPDATE: Electricity supply in the Drakies area of Inverness restored following earlier power cut

Work has been carried out to repair a fault in the electricity supply in Inverness.

The power cut began at 11.27am and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) fixed the fault in the Drakies area by 4pm.

The four affected postcode areas are: IV2 3RT, IV2 3SB, IV2 3SD and IV2 3SF.
