UPDATE: Police Scotland confirms missing 59-year-old man has been found

A 59-year-old man reported missing from the Perth area earlier today has now been found, Police Scotland has confirmed.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: "We can confirm that Brian Sharp, 59, who had been reported missing from Abernyte, has been traced.

"We would like to thank those who assisted with our appeal."
