UPDATE: Police appeal after 70 year-old male motorcyclist and 57-year-old woman passenger injured in crash near Invermoriston
A motorcyclist and passenger were taken to hospital after colliding with a pick-up truck last night on the A82 near Invermoriston.
The 70-year-old male rider was flown by air ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness while his pillion passenger, a 57-year-old woman, was driven to the same hospital by ambulance.
Police have issued an appeal for information on the incident which happened at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, July 30, involving a collision between the blue and white BMW R1200RS motorbike and a black Toyota Hilux.
The driver of the pick-up, a 52-year-old man, was not injured.
The road was closed and re-opened at around 9pm.
Sergeant Doug Scott said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who can help to get in touch.
“If you were in the area at the time and have information, including dash-cam, that could assist with our investigation then please make contact with us.”
