Raigmore Hospital's Ward 2C will remain closed to visitors and new patients until further notice.

It comes after the "detection of a very small number of cases of Covid-19" yesterday.

But NHS Highland stated in an update this afternoon that there have been no additional cases in the ward overnight.

A spokeswoman added: "Standard infection prevention and control procedures will be remaining in place.

"The ward will remain closed to visiting and admissions until further notice.

"The latest Covid-19 guidance from NHS Scotland and the Scottish Government, including physical-distancing measures and advice for infected households, is available at www.nhsinform.scot

"A further update will be available on Monday at 4pm."
