Nairn woman is ‘safe and well’ following police appeal

Police have thanked the public after a woman was tracked down following a report of concern for a person in Nairn.

Officers issued an appeal for information about the woman, including a description, after she as seen in the Riverside Park area at around 7.20pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said: “Following a report of concern for a woman in the Riverside Park area of Nairn, the woman has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
