UPDATE: Missing Aberdeen-shire man, who was last seen in Inverness, has been found safe and well

A missing man from the Aberdeen – who was in Inverness city centre a few days ago – has been found safe and well.

Michael Slater (35) from Macduff was last seen outside the Black Isle Hostel in Academy Street.

A police spokesman said: "Our colleagues in the north east have confirmed that Michael Slater, who had been seen in Inverness has been traced safe and well.

"We would also thank everyone who helped with the appeal."
