UPDATE: 37-year-old Scott Hunter who was missing from the Ballifeary area of Inverness has been traced safe and well following appeal by Highland and Islands Police Division

Following an earlier appeal by Highland and Islands Police Division to help trace a missing Inverness man it has been reported that he has been found safe and well.

In a Facebook post a spokesman said: "Good news! Scott Hunter (37) who was missing from the Ballifeary area of Inverness has been traced safe and well.

"Thanks for your comments and shares."
