UPDATE: Missing Inverness woman is found 'safe and well'

A 57-year-old woman reported missing in Inverness this morning has been found safe and well, police have announced.

Louise Hardie went missing at around 11.40am today near New Craigs Psychiatric Hospital, prompting police to issue an appeal for information to help track her down.

A police spokesman said: "Police Scotland can now confirm that Louise has been traced safe and well. Thank you for your assistance in this matter."
