UPDATE: Missing Inverness teenager found 'safe and well'

Police have thanked the public after a missing teenager was tracked down 'safe and well'.

The force had issued an appeal for help to find Shanai Anderson (16), from Inverness, earlier today – after she was last seen at around 5pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said: "We can confirm Shanai Anderson, who was reported missing from Inverness, has been found safe and well.

"Thanks to the public for their assistance."
