UPDATE: Man in court in connection with Inverness car thefts

Andrew Craigie (27) from Dundee appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court this afternoon.

He made no plea in connection with a charge of theft and has been remanded pending further investigation.

Two cars were taken from the Top Car dealership in Harbour Road, Inverness on July 2, which followed the theft of vehicles from Culloden Car Sales earlier.

Police investigations into the thefts are ongoing.
