UPDATE: Highland schools closure list extended

More schools have been added to the list of those closed across the Highlands today

A list of school closures maintained by Highland Council and updated online at 7am daily previously listed Millburn Academy in Inverness and Alness Academy as open to S4-6 only.

In addition St Clement's Primary in Dingwall was also listed as closed.

Further updates have now confirmed closures of the following:

Muirtown Primary and Nursery

Glenurquhart Primary

Glenurquhart High School

St Clement's School nursery

Charleston Academy (closed to S1-3 but open for S4-6)

Daviot Primary

Drakies Primary and Nursery

Marybank Primary and Nursery

Resolis Primary Nursery

Strathdearn Primary and Nursery

Craighill and Knockbreck Primaries in Tain also remain closed.
