Police Scotland has confirmed there were five occupants, not four as previously stated, at the property in Foxhole, near Kiltarlity in the Highlands, which was targeted by armed robbers on Monday.

They were uninjured but were extremely shaken by this distressing incident where they were threatening with a weapon.

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses and information after a group of five unidentified men got into the property around 7pm on Monday.

Cash and a car were stolen during the incident – the vehicle has since been recovered.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 2809 of October 19, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
