UPDATE: A82 reopens following three vehicle crash near Inverness

THE A82 has now reopened following an earlier three vehicle crash to the south of Inverness, Traffic Scotland has confirmed.

The national body posted the update shortly after 3.30pm.

Police said that the crash took place at around 2.30pm on a section of road between Inverness and Dochgarroch.

A spokesman said that there were "no serious reported injuries".

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene at 2.43pm, to provide support for the police, but were not actively involved in the incident's aftermath.
