The busy A82 trunk road has reopened to traffic, several hours after a crash blocked it both ways near Dochgarroch.

Traffic Scotland confirmed at 5.10pm that the road had fully reopened after being closed in the wake of a two-vehicle collision at around 1.20pm.

Police, fire crews and ambulances were all called to the scene, with two people being taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

The road had partially reopened by 4.07pm, with traffic still restricted to just one lane and traffic management in effect, before fully reopening by 5.10pm.
