SPARKLING unicorns Melody and Luna – AKA Sarah Rose Graber and Ruxy Cantir – had planned on throwing the best dance party of its type ever... and did so, six times.

They staged the Unicorn Dance Party at Bellfield Park with Eden Court last weekend – attracting around 300 youngsters and family members.

Melody and Luna entertained youngsters with easy-to-follow dance moves to the ‘ultimate playlist’ of favourite tunes, featuring everyone from Katy Perry and Fred Astaire, to Basement Jaxx and Queen.

Sarah-Rose said: “We were capped at about 50 people that we could safely have at each show, but it felt brilliant to be in shared spaces again.

“There is a certain energy when you bring people together which is irreplaceable when doing online experiences.

“There was such an enthusiasm and joy from the audiences – which was just brilliant – and everyone was so ready to have a great time and to join in!”

Sarah-Rose revealed that the Scottish tour is going well, and that those involved hope Unicorn Dance Party will be back.

“We would be delighted to be bringing the show back out again,” she added.

“We are proud as artists to be at the forefront of the return of things with the pandemic and figuring out how we do it so people feel safe and able to enjoy themselves.”
