WHEN searching for all the artwork in Highland Hospice’s Great Heilan’ Coo Trail you could easily work up an appetite.

Now, Harry Gow has created a special treat to support the charity even further.

The baker has a coo, designed by Becky Lister-Kaye of GingerBee Art, outside its North Kessock branch and staff inside are selling coo cupcakes in aid of the hospice.

A spokesman for the baker said: “We’re udderly excited to reveal that we’ve sponsored a Highland Coo.”

Hospice corporate fundraiser Karen Duff said: “We are so very grateful to Harry Gow for all of their fabulous support. It is so generous of them to sponsor Bos Taurus, and on top of this, to create these amazing cakes with all proceeds going to the hospice.

“They are so adorable, and taste incredible. We really hope that people throughout the Highlands will enjoy them – they are the perfect fuel for coo-hunting!”

Joining forces with local businesses and artists, the trail features 22 Heilan Coos from Inverness to Portree, Aviemore to Thurso.

Mrs Lister-Kaye said: “Bos Taurus celebrates some of the wonderful fauna we see here in the Highlands.”

The coo’s will be on display until August 21, before going to auction.
