Two men to appear in Inverness court charged with supplying drugs

Police say two men have been arrested in relation to the supply of drugs valued at more than £80,000.

Police said that following proactive work in the Highland capital a 36-year-old male from Inverness and a 21-year-old man from Forres are both due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court today.

Their appearance is in relation to the supply of class B drugs with a street value of £83,000.

A police spokesman said: "Targetting drug supply and associated serious and organised crimes is a priority for the Community Investigation Unit in the Highland and Islands area.

"We can only achieve results like this with the support of our community and I ask that anyone with any information with regards to drugs supply contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
