Two men appear in court over death of Inverness teenager Gregor McIntosh

Two men have appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court in connection with the death of a teenager.

Gregor McIntosh, a 16-year-old schoolboy from Inverness, was a passenger in a car, allegedly driven by Connor Lawless (18), also from Inverness.

It was in collision with two other vehicles at the Munlochy Junction on the A9 outside Inverness on Friday, December 20 last year.

A woman was also seriously injured.

Lawless, and the driver of one of the other cars, Stuart Thomson (48) from Muir of Ord have been charged with causing death and serious injury by careless driving.

They made no plea, were committed for further examination and had bail continued.
