Two men charged after break-in at Inverness supermarket

Two men have been charged with breaking and entering at a supermarket in Inverness in the early hours of this morning.

Police arrested the men after reports of intruders at the Co-op in Telford Street.

The men are due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court tomorrow.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have apprehended two males in the early hours of today following a break-in to the Co-op in Telford Street.

"The males will be appearing at Inverness Sheriff Court on July 1."

The break in is the third attempt on an Inverness supermarket in a matter of weeks.
