Two men were arrested in Inverness yesterday afternoon after a police chase started on the Kessock Bridge.

Police Scotland confirmed that the pursuit started at around 2.45pm on Tuesday, August 26, after a vehicle failed to stop for police on the A9.

Although the vehicle initially made off, it was discovered a short time later crashed near Eastfield Retail Park — no one was reported to be injured.

A Police spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 22 and 30, were arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

“Anyone with any information or dash cam footage is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 1958 of August 26, 2025.”
