Three local schools closed by weather

THREE local schools are closed today following heavy morning snow.

Daviot Primary is shut because of the bad weather, while Stratherrick Primary is closed because of a lack of power or water.

The closure of Cannich Bridge Primary School has also been announced within the past hour due to worsening conditions.

More than 20 schools are currently closed across the Highland Council region because of bad weather.
