TWO men have been charged in connection with an alleged theft and vandalism following reports of antisocial behaviour on the Black Isle.

Police confirmed today that the two have been charged following a disturbance in Rosemarkie overnight on Tuesday this week.

The two men have been reported to the procurator fiscal and are expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court "at a later date".

Constable Aaron MacKenzie at Dingwall Police Station said: "We take reports of antisocial behaviour extremely seriously and robust enquiries have been carried out to identify those reponsible.

"We are grateful to the various members of the local community that have come forward to assist the enquiry and I would urge those with information regarding antisocial behaviour to contact Police on 101."
