Inverness restaurant set to move to a bigger premises

A Turkish restaurant in Inverness is moving to a bigger premises.

Aspendos on Queensgate will move further up the street into the former Escobar premises.

The current premises will close on March 22 and is set to open up in the new site in mid-April.

Taking to social media, the owner of Aspendos, Mustafa Calisir, said: “We are delighted to say that we are moving to a new and bigger premises. Our restaurant will be relocating to 8 Queensgate (formerly Escobar) and we hope to be open mid April.

“We look forward to welcoming all our lovely customers to our new space.”

Loyal customers have encouraged this, with Cigdem Tasasız saying: “Congratulations on your new location.

“We will be booking a table soon for your fantastic cuisine Mustafa best in the town.”

“Looking forward to eating in your new premises! Love your restaurant! Wishing you every success in your new place”, added Alison Robertson.
