Police have confirmed tailbacks in Nairn.

A broken-down truck on a major road through Nairn is causing traffic tailbacks.

The incident happened at the junction of the A96 and A939 at 10.45am.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said a mechanic is at the scene and it is hoped the road will soon be unblocked.
