Inverness woman scoops prize

A WOMAN has scooped some extra spending money ahead of Christmas, thanks to Inverness City Centre BID.

Kimberley Oman won a £250 city centre gift card after entering a competition last month. The card will allow her to buy goods from selected retailers in the city, meaning the cash will be reinvested into the local economy.

Head chef Kimberley said she was so surprised to win, and had thought it was spam when she had first received the email.

“I kept ignoring the email, but finally I realised in time and was able to redeem it,” she said. “It will really help with presents, and I can get a wee something for myself too. I’m really happy that it all goes to local shops too.”
