A barbershop on Tomnahurich Street is under new ownership.

Serdasht Karim (35) took over the previous TM Barbers on July 15 renaming it King Barber.

This is his first barbershop in Inverness after previously having a premises in Glasgow.

Mr Karim said: “Inverness is a very nice city and that’s why I moved here in October last year.”

King Barber offers haircuts, shaves and designs for men and women’s short haircuts.

“It’s been good and steady so far!”, he said.

The shop also has a room within it that he hopes to hire out to a tattoo artist.

He added: “We are hoping it’s going to get busy and we will get another barber in soon.”

Barber King is open 9am to 6.30pm and on a Sunday 10 – 5pm
