Tomatin Distillery had a double reason for an online dram at the weekend.
As well as marking the release of its limited-edition 2006 Fino expression, the special online tasting event also celebrated 30 years in the industry for Tomatin master distiller Graham Eunson.
Mr Eunson was joined by Tomatin global brands ambassador Scott Adamson, Whisky Magazine's Scotch editor Christopher Coates and Moa Nilsson, aka Swedish Whisky Girl.
exclusively for the UK market to try the 13-year old whisky, which was released this month as a UK market exclusive.
The 2006 Fino expression was initially matured for 13 years at Tomatin Distillery, then moved to the Spanish Fino Sherry butts in November 2015.
The limited run has produced just 1691 70cl bottles, which are available online and from specialist retailers across the UK.
Mr Eunson said: “We strive to produce remarkable expressions that appeal to not only our existing customers, but to a wider audience too. The 2006 Fino is a great example of our dediction to craft and excellence. The combination of both sweet and savoury notes gives a finish like no other, and we hope it will entice both whisky enthusiasts and novices to try this new edition.”
