Police attended the road accident on the A96 this morning

Occupants of two vehicles escaped injury after a collision on the A96 this morning.

The accident, at Dalcross roundabout near Inverness Airport, was reported at 8.45 am.

Police attended for around 30 minutes and helped assist with vehicle recovery. The road remained open.

A police spokesman said: “It was initially reported that three vehicles were involved in the collision, but we can now confirm there was only two. No-one was injured. The incident is now closed.”
