The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel on Ness Bank posted this morning about the incident, saying it occurred while guests were having their evening meal.

The hotel’s team shared that the episode left them “really disappointed” and are hoping to find people who witnessed the scene.

In the post, they said: “Last night, our guests were unfortunately interrupted during their evening meal with a group of teenage individuals who kicked our front restaurant windows repeatedly, shouting profanities and undesirable remarks to our staff.
”It goes without saying we are so, so disappointed. For visitors in this area, this isn’t the Inverness we want to promote. For our lovely locals this isn’t the experience they are used to.

“And our wonderful team - they don’t deserve to come to work and have to put up with this.

”For years, we have worked so hard to build our business from ground up and, albeit just a footprint this time, it’s extremely discouraging to have to accept this behaviour with very little being done about it. If anyone witnessed this, please do get in touch.”

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
