Inverness man’s drunken behaviour outside ex-partner’s house ‘completely unacceptable’

A 42-year-old man who went to his ex-partner’s house and created a disturbance was fined £640 at Inverness Sheriff Court.
Andrew Chisholm, of Oakwood Court, Inverness admitted threatening or abusive behaviour at a property in Dochfour Drive which occurred on June 29.

Fiscal depute Shay Traynor said that police were called after Chisholm began shouting and swearing at the woman's window.
Defence solicitor Patrick O'Dea said: "He had been drinking to excess at the time but his drinking is now under control."
Sheriff Gary Aitken told Chisholm: "This behaviour is completely unacceptable."
