A VAN has been stolen following another theft from farms in the Cawdor area.

Police have issued an appeal after a white Mercedes Sprinter van was stolen sometime between 7pm on Thursday and 8am this morning.

The 63 plate van has a blue stripe down one side and the word AGRII displayed. The design on the side is the same as the one in the picture (above), although the vehicle is a different model.

The theft comes just a day after officers appealed for information in connection with a spate of other thefts from farms in that area.

Making the latest appeal, officers said: "Enquiries are ongoing and the incident is being treated as linked to other thefts from farms in the area in recent days.

"Anyone with information or who believes they may have seen this van can call 101, quoting incident 0481 of March 26. You can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

"We would also be keen to speak to anyone who was driving in the area overnight and may have dashcam footage."

The appeal follows three earlier thefts from farms in the area between Sunday evening and the early hours of Tuesday. On those occasions, stolen items included tools, food and a small sum of cash.
