‘There will be a few surprises at Belladrum’ - says Bill Bailey
In a first for Belladrum, comedian Bill Bailey will take to the main stage.
Q. You've been to the Highlands before, what can you say?
A. Yes I’ve done two tours of the Highlands now - l loved the first one so much I had to do another! My current touring show, Thoughtifier, has been to 18 countries now, so I’m excited to be performing it at Belladrum.

Q. When you're at festivals or events like this do you ever find time to soak in the atmosphere and watch any of the other acts, if so, who will you most likely have an eye on at Belladrum this time around?
A. I try to see some other bands, especially new and upcoming acts, and I think some whisky might be involved at some point, and if I get chance I’ll be watching Deacon Blue, Teenage Fanclub, and maybe a Buzzcocks reunion with the Sugababes!
Q. The festival theme is love, what is your favourite love song of all time and why?
A. My favourite love song? There are quite a few but Ever Fallen in Love by the Buzzcocks is right up there.
Q. I'm sure there will be a lot of love for you when you take to the stage, can you give us any hints of anything special you are preparing for your set?
A. I’ll be bringing some of the new instruments I've been learning, so new technology, plus a few surprises so you’ll have to wait and see!
