A TEEN has been charged after police seized £2800 worth of drugs in Inverness, officers have revealed.

The teen, a 17-year-old male who has not been named, was charged after officers executed a drugs search warrant in Dalneigh.

"Controlled drugs to the value of £2800 were recovered along with £1200 cash," said a police spokesman.

They added: "Police Scotland would like to thank the public for their assistance in our efforts to tackle drug dealing in our communities, and would again urge anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
