1. Fixed: Inverness's giant pothole has been repaired
A giant pothole in Inverness has been repaired by Highland Council.
The Inverness Courier and Highland News highlighted the large crater in Oldtown Road, Hilton, last month.

2. Firefighters from Inverness and Nairn tackle blaze at farm in Nairn
Firefighters battled a blaze at a farm in Nairn on the March 21.
Two appliances from Nairn and a water carrier from Inverness were sent to the scene at Little Kildrummie Farm.

3. Plans revealed for 650 new homes
A master plan for a new village of 650 homes on the eastern fringes of Nairn is expected to be lodged with Highland Council planners next year.
Springfield Properties, which is nearing completion of more than 400 houses at its Lochloy development, has proposals for 650 homes on land at Balmakeith, Househill and Achnacloich.
The three sites total 250 acres and, if approved, will begin close to Sainsbury’s stretching out towards Auldearn, tying in with the new Nairn bypass, which is expected to start in the next few years.

4. ‘Yobs are making my life hell’ says Inverness farmer after reports of antisocial behaviour
Police have vowed to increase patrols after reports of antisocial behaviour at a farm on the outskirts of Inverness.
Problems with large gatherings of young people, litter and dog walkers have been building since the start of lockdown for Carol Munro of Ashton Farm.
Carol Munro, reached the end of her tether due to people swearing and shouting at her after she had politely asked them to put their dog on a lead or clean up after themselves.

5. £240,000 compensation for woman whose hearing was damaged at tanning salon
An Inverness woman has been awarded almost a quarter of a million pounds to pay for a lifetime supply of hearing aids after tanning salon bosses failed to protect her from contracting tinnitus.
Haesel McDonald (24) was forced to quit a promising dance career after she sustained serious hearing loss whilst working at the Indigo Sun tanning salon in Dundee’s Strathmartine Road.
